Itule Foundation

(SOUTHERN AZ) Scholarship

The Itule family is founded on the principles of prioritizing the well-being of others over oneself. What value is there in having the ability to bless others if you choose not to act?

Known for strength, generosity, and perseverance, the Itule Foundation has established a scholarship to support individuals who exemplify these values. Commitment to Fairness

At the Itule Foundation, we are dedicated to ensuring that the scholarship review process is fair, transparent, and unbiased. Each application is carefully evaluated based on the established criteria, with a focus on academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, and alignment with our mission.

Our review committee is committed to treating all applicants with equal consideration, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, financial background, or personal circumstances. We believe that every student deserves an opportunity to pursue their dreams, and we strive to select recipients who best embody the values of our foundation.

To maintain integrity and fairness:

  • Anonymity: All basic information, including the applicant’s name, gender, ethnicity, and other identifying details, will be removed by the pre-check board before the application is submitted to the review board. Each applicant will be assigned a number for tracking purposes to further ensure anonymity.

  • Independent Review: Any educators or individuals employed by the school to which the scholarship is open will not serve on the review board for that specific scholarship. For example, if a review board member is employed at Cienega High School, that member will be removed from the review board for this scholarship cycle.

  • Assessment Criteria: Applicants will be evaluated solely on their scholarship application answers, letters of recommendation, and transcripts.

  • Collaborative Review: Each application is assessed by multiple reviewers to provide diverse perspectives and eliminate potential bias.

  • Recipient Selection: The scholarship recipient will be nominated by the review board through a majority vote after all applications have been thoroughly reviewed and discussed.

  • Pre-Check Process: All applications will be first reviewed by the pre-check board and assessed through a national database for plagiarism, AI-generated content, and any other form of cheating to ensure authenticity and integrity in the application process.
